11:00 AM - 12:00 PM    Winter Programs - Earl G. Legacy Park (Ages 5 & up) - Snowshoe/Hike - February
Snowshoe/HikeFebruary 18 @ 11 AM March 11 @ 11 AMMinimum 5:  Maximum 20 participantsJoin us at Earl Legacy Park (New Boston Road) for an evening walk in the woods.  Learn about nocturnal NH animals and how they thrive at night.  We will be following a winding trail through the woods that is narrow in places, with rocks and tree roots, and lit only by moonlight.  We will snowshoe if there is snow and walk if there is no snow.WHAT TO BRING: Bring your gear - snowshoes, yak trax, or micro spikes and hiking poles if you use them.  We will have a few pairs of snowshoes available to borrow. Dress in layers; hiking and snowshoeing can make you sweat, even on a cold night. Bring some water to drink. Bring your own mug for a warm drink in the warming hut after the walk.  XC Ski or Snowshoe/Hike - Ages 16+February 18 @ 1 PM March 11 @ 1 PMMinimum 5:  Maximum 30 participantsJoin us at Earl Legacy Park for moonlight fitness.  Pick your activity! Group One will XC ski on the groomed trails if there is sufficient snow.Group Two will snowshoe or walk along a winding trail through the woods.(Hosted by the Bedford Trail Stewards)WHAT TO BRING:  Bring your gear - skis, snowshoes, yak trax, or micro spikes and hiking poles if you use them.  We will have a few pairs of snowshoes available to borrow.
